Are Media and legendary Australian children entertainers The Wiggles have joined forces to publish a series of cookbooks which encourage children and their families to cook.
The books, ‘Cooking with the Wiggles’ and ‘Emma’s Tea Party’ are the latest expansion into the popular children’s genre by Are Media.
In ‘Cooking with the Wiggles’, join Emma, Lachy, Simon and Anthony as they share their easy recipes on how to cook eggs, toasties, burritos, meatballs, chicken nuggets, pasta, soup, chocolate cookies and more.
Easy-to-make food perfect for light meals is the subject of ‘Emma’s Tea Party’ which teaches children how to make sandwiches, pizza, cheesy chicken strips, potato wedges, fruit salad and pikelets.
Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, said: “We are so excited about the launch of our new Wiggly cookbooks; ‘Cooking with The Wiggles’ and ‘Emma’s Tea Party’. These beautifully designed books contain easy to follow recipes for children and carers to enjoy. Cooking is such a great activity for families to share and offers many learning opportunities for children. We have always loved singing about food, and now it is a joy to bring families together in the kitchen with food. Who knows, they may listen to us while they are cooking, Yummy Yummy!”
‘Cooking with The Wiggles’ and ‘Emma’s Tea Party’ are the first in a series of Wiggle themed cookbooks. The Wiggles, along with Are Media are planning to release more titles covering topics including baking and healthy lunch box meals in 2021.
David Scotto, books operations manager at Are Media said: “Children have sung and danced with The Wiggles around the world for years, now they can learn to cook with them with these beautifully produced cookbooks featuring easy recipes kids will love.
“Children’s publishing is a priority area for Are Media Books and we are thrilled to be producing cookbooks for one of the biggest children’s brands in Australia. There has been a positive response from retailers for these Wiggles cookbooks, so we cannot wait to extend the series next year.”
Both books, priced at $14.99 each, are now on sale where all good books are sold.
