MOST ANTICIPATED RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD GIVES AUSTRALIAN EXCLUSIVE TOUR TO LEADING BAUER MAGAZINE BRAND

Gourmet Traveller Magazine is amongst a handful of titles being given exclusive access to Noma 2.0, the world’s most anticipated new restaurant.

Gourmet Traveller will walk through the new space in Copenhagen with charismatic and visionary chef René Redzepi, who will show off the thinking behind the new restaurant. Readers and listeners can join the tour in a special hour-long version of the Gourmet Traveller podcast, Set Menu.

Sarah Oakes, editor of Gourmet Traveller, said, “It’s an exciting privilege to be given such exclusive access to such a hotly anticipated restaurant. I’m so pleased we can deliver a slice of that excitement to our readers.”

Noma 2.0 is set in an urban farm next to a manmade lake, and will become a new restaurant every four months as the season shifts focus from seafood to vegetables to game.

The original Noma restaurant opened in 2003 and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most exciting restaurants in the world, being named number one on the World’s 50 Best Restaurant list four times, and staging ambitious pop-ups in Tokyo in 2015 and in Sydney in 2016.

It closed a year ago and while a new site for the restaurant was developed and built Redzepi took the entire restaurant to Tulum on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico.
