Lyndsey Rodrigues will join Are Media, Australia’s #1 women’s lifestyle network, as the new editor of WHO.
Rodrigues, who was most recently Head of Yahoo Lifestyle, brings extensive experience across both digital publishing and video having worked on leading entertainment titles both in Australia and the US. She is also the former Entertainment Editor of Val Morgan Digital, where she oversaw entertainment content for The Latch and POPSUGAR Australia, and has also written for People TV and The Hollywood Reporter.
The appointment is effective November 3 and will see Rodrigues working closely with Susan Armstrong, Are Media’s General Manager, Entertainment, on driving WHO’s commercial success as an omnichannel brand.
Armstrong commented on the appointment saying: “Lyndsey Rodrigues brings a wealth of experience in editorial leadership, audience growth and commercial collaboration. She also has a strong track record in entertainment reporting, writing and producing, having worked with leading outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, POPSUGAR, and most recently as Head of Lifestyle at Yahoo.
“Her incredibly strong background in digital and video, combined with her strategic vision and hands-on editorial expertise, will be a valuable addition to lead the WHO team.”
Rodrigues noted how excited she was to be joining WHO: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at such an exciting time.
